Mark  John O Rourke was born in Dublin in November 1977, and grew up in the suburban areas of North Kildare. He cites the New York abstract expressionist movement of the late 1940s and early 1950s as an interest, as well as the work of Irish Expressionist painters, like Micheal Mulchay and Jack Butler Yeats.  Marks works are original and accessible , and have been collected both in his home country and internationally. He is a holder of a Diploma in Integral Sound Healing . He  lives in Dublin City with His Fiance Tanja and his Two Daughters Siofra And Ronia.
